Office Interior Design – Eagle Labs, Cumbria – The Bus Station
How our Astaura office interior design team helped to create a vibrant, inspiring branded workspace, with enhanced acoustics for video conferencing.
In partnership with BEC and funded by Sellafield Ltd as part of its Social Impact Multiplied programme, Barclays last year opened an Eagle Labs incubator in Cumbria to help boost the region’s start up and scale up ecosystem.
Based in The Bus Station in the harbour town of Whitehaven on Cumbria’s West Coast, it offers 50 co-working spaces, 10 private offices, four meeting rooms, one maker space, Barclays Eagle Labs, The Peddler restaurant and one extraordinary community.

Director of Astaura Gary Cranson oversaw the entire process, from the first site visit, to the final installation and we created a vibrant, edgy, interesting workspace that doesn’t compromise on functionality or practicality.
We designed, manufactured and installed the Eagle Labs signage, selected and supplied the unique furniture including bespoke work benches, and created and installed the artificial bio wall panelling, to bring together a bright and interesting creative space.
We also designed, manufactured and installed a range of colourful bespoke acoustic panels and sculptures to enhance the acoustics for video conferencing and further complement the interior design of the space.

If you want to create a workplace that really stands out then just get in touch – we’ll be happy to help.
