The Halston Aparthotel commissioned Astuara to be the lead interior designers for the build of the new award-winning Aparthotel.
Style was paramount so The Halston could set themselves apart from the competition. The restaurant, bar and function areas had to evoke modern luxury that would make the Aparthotel the most desirable offering in the city.
The Brief
The apartment interiors had to fully utilise the limited space with clever, functional design, while still offering luxury and attention to detail. The conference and event areas needed to be both luxurious and versatile providing space for small business meetings and events for up to 400 people.
Astaura provided The Halston with a full interior design service creating 3D imagery, animations, assisting with the planning process and helping to source the perfect fixtures, fittings and furniture.
The Result
“It was amazing to be a part of developing such a large, iconic building as The Halston. The function rooms had to be fluid and adaptable to a range of events and sizes but still have a luxurious feel. Clever use of moving walls, different textures and backdrops were key in the design.
The apartments needed to offer luxurious spaces for both one and two bedrooms. We were tasked with creating living spaces that would be aspirational, make full use of the limited space and have the attention to detail that The Halston’s customers would want and expect.
